Majalca-State Park

Yesterday we went to a state park called Majalca, it's a beautiful park and very refreshing after being in the city for a while. it should only take about a half hour to get there, but due to the type of roads we have to travel on it takes about 1 1/2 hour. if you look close at the bottom left hand corner of this picture you can see part of the road.
It's been fun to be able to see some of the sites while we are waiting to move, and acclimate to life here in Mexico.

This is the cannon we drove through to get to our site, in times like these you become VERY thankful for four-wheel drive!

The kiddos had a great time with the hammock...

I have never seen anything like this, so it was really fun to walk around and explore the cannon!

The orange color in the water is iron..

A rock colored praying mantis...

Kiddos:)

Tarantula...Thankfully we only saw these on the road and not our site!

Getting ready to pack up...

A beautiful sunset on the way home, I'm so thankful that God created color!
